Have you ever wanted to tackle a big goal, one that excited you but seemed out of reach or too difficult? Watch this 2-minute time lapse video showing a young girl make progress on her goal of learning to dance in one year. It may be just the inspiration you need to jump start your own journey.

  • What do you want more of in your life?
  • What could you work on right now that would bring it closer?
  • What needs to happen to take the first step?

Your first step could be as simple as doing more of what you’re already doing – or it may require new behaviours. Either way, today’s a great day to start.

  1. Thanks for sharing this inspiring video!

I have recently started road biking to actively explore my neighbourhoods. On day one I fell over with my feet clipped in and came away feeling emotionally and physically bruised. I found my courage to get back on my bike the following weekend to ride from the North Shore around Stanley Park with my girlfriends.

It is easy to be overwhelmed by the prospect of learning something new. We are often impatient with ourselves and others when really we need to be more patient and encouraging with change.

Two questions that I love are “what would you do if you weren’t afraid?” and “how will you keep going when you experience setbacks?
